Celebrating the 5th year of The Villager Magazines!
The Villager for Kingswinford, a local high-quality glossy magazine, was launched in September 2006 with the Villager for Kinver, Stourton and Wollaston, soon following in January 2007. Both titles, published independently by Maggie Reeves, have become necessary reading for their respective areas creating a loyal readership in there time. Due to the high demand of advertisers needing to reach surounding areas The Villager Magazines have grown to cover a much larger area. There is now a Villager for Kingswinford, Wordsley & Wall Heath and a Villager for Wollaston, Stourton, Kinver, Bobbington, Swindon & Himley.
A readership of over 25,000
The Villager magazines are published monthly and distributed FREE to over 10,000 households. They are delivered on, or around, the first weekend of each month by a team of deliverers who are all local residents.
The majority of the businesses that are in The Villager are local – I try to target only businesses within or near to the areas where the magazines are delivered. If there is an unusual or specialist business I can not find in my own surrounding area then I try to locate the nearest one possible. The aim of the magazines is to help local businesses grow and make local people aware of what is on their doorstep.
The Villager is independently published, local residents and entrepreneurs regularly contribute great articles of general interest for our readers and we always carry a competition to win fabulous tickets for a show at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.
